Every great cup of chai begins with a story. Ours began in 2018, with a shared dream between my wife and me: to bring the authentic taste of traditional Chai Karak to tea lovers everywhere.
We grew up appreciating the comfort of a proper cup of chai – rich, bold, aromatic and full of flavour. It was more than just a drink; it was a moment of comfort, a connection to home, and a tradition worth sharing.
We wanted to capture that same experience in a convenient, modern way, without ever compromising on authenticity.
At the time, instant tea premixes were still a relatively new concept. We saw an opportunity to do something different: to create a premium Chai Karak that delivered the taste and aroma of a freshly prepared café-style cup in just seconds.
But we knew that getting it right would take time.
For the next two years, we dedicated ourselves to researching, refining and perfecting our blend. There were countless cups tasted, recipes adjusted and flavours fine-tuned, all driven by one simple question:
“Would we be proud to serve this as our own perfect cup of Chai Karak?”
Eventually, we found the blend we had been searching for – one that brought together the richness, aroma and bold character of authentic Chai Karak with the ease and consistency of an instant premix.
And that was the beginning of Chai Karak.
